MELDRUM Joined By MOTÖRHEAD's LEMMY At Hollywood Gig
January 25, 2005MELDRUM, the Swedish band led by former PHANTOM BLUE guitarist Michelle Meldrum (wife of EUROPE axeman John Norum),were joined by MOTÖRHEAD's Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister for a rendition of the MOTÖRHEAD classic "No Class" during their appearance at House of Blues in Hollywood, California on Saturday (Jan. 22). Headlining the show were BLACK LABEL SOCIETY.
MELDRUM previously covered "No Class" for a MOTÖRHEAD tribute album. In addition, the band co-wrote a song with Lemmy, entitled "Miss Me When I'm Gone".
Currently unsigned, MELDRUM are continuing to write and record material to be included on the as-yet-untitled follow-up to their debut album, "Loaded Mental Cannon". A 2005 release is expected.
